Luxury Cycling holiday from the Massif Central to the Ocean and the Arcachon bay. Bike tour with luggage transfer.

  • 12 days:  Cycling to the Ocean. Start in Souillac (Dordogne valley)

  • 20 days : Cycling to the Ocean. Start in Creissels / Millau
  • Optional:  extra nights in any of the hotels of the package for a restday or an extra cycling day.
  • You can start this tour any day of the week between March 15th and October 24th.

  • Packages with room and breakfasts only. We reserve a table for your dinners, but these are not included in the basic rate.

This tour is a luxury bike tour by the most famous sites such as Medieval Sarlat UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE (in the heart of 'Perigord Noir'), the Gouffre du Padirac, the Caves of Lascaux and Rocamadour, a Renaissance style village built against the cliff and in the area of the valleys of Dordogne and Vézère. Here you'll see the famous prehistoric caves.

In Sarlat you'll enjoy the markets on Saturday and Wednesday and its galeries and shopping centre in the old city.

 

 

You will visit the cave of Lascaux.

You'll have enough time to visit beautiful medieval villages like Domme, Souillac, Sarlat, Les Eyzies-de-Tayac and Rocamadour.

The nearest airport from UK to these walking tours is Bergerac or Limoges (Ryanair).
Toulouse from other countries.
Transfer to first hotel in Souillac is not included.
Train Bergerac-Souillac € 25,- (2h30 or 3h20 travelling)
Train Toulouse-Souillac direct connection of almost 2 hours.

From North America best is to fly into Paris or to Toulouse.
Bus and train  connection from Toulouse to Souillac € 40,-
By train from Paris Austerlitz: leave at 7:09h, 9:09h; 9:39h or 13:56h.

Arrival in Souillac after 4h30min. Fare: 2nd class: € 60,- , 1st class € 90.- .

From Souillac back to Paris: leave at 07:05 or 09:03 or 13:10. Arrival in Paris after 4h30min.
